If you are also a fan of Hyundai cars, then 2025 is going to be very interesting for you. The company is preparing to launch the facelift version of its two popular cars – Hyundai Verna and Hyundai Exter. Both the vehicles were launched in India in 2023 and now after three years their refreshed version is going to be launched. It is clear from this that Hyundai is now looking to speed up its product cycle even more.
Hyundai Verna Facelift: The most change will be seen in the front look
The current model of Hyundai Verna is already known for its sporty design, but the new facelift version is going to add more charm to it. It is clear from the testing images leaked on the internet that there will not be much change in the rear and side profile of the new Verna. However, a lot of new things will be seen in the front – especially in the grille and bumper.

Hyundai has decided to retain its mechanical specifications. That means it will have the same 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine (115hp) and 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine (160hp). There is no change in transmission options either – CVT in NA engine and 6-speed manual with 7-speed DCT in turbo will be standard.
The company may not make major changes in the interior design, but it can definitely add something new to the features and safety package. It is expected that safety features like ADAS will be improved further.
Price hike is certain:
The price of the new Verna may be slightly higher than the current ₹ 11.07 lakh – ₹ 17.58 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus and Skoda Slavia.
Hyundai Exter Facelift: Micro SUV to get fresh upgrade
The Hyundai Exter, which competes with the Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger, is also set to get a facelift in 2025. Although not much information has been revealed about it yet, it is expected to get some cosmetic updates as well as new features and improved safety kit.
The Exter will continue to get a 1.2-litre petrol engine (83hp) and CNG version (69hp) as before. Manual and AMT options will also be available in the transmission.

Conclusion
If you are looking to buy a new and upgraded Hyundai car, it may be wise to wait a bit. These two facelift vehicles coming in 2025 are not only going to go up a level in looks but also in features and safety. This rapid product upgradation strategy of Hyundai clearly shows that the company wants to further strengthen its portfolio in the Indian market.
