Mahindra is preparing to give a major update to its popular SUV Scorpio N soon, in which the inclusion of Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is almost certain. Advanced features like Auto Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, Cruise Control can be seen in it.
Panoramic sunroof can also be a big highlight of this upcoming update. Currently, only single-pane sunroof is being offered in the top variants of Scorpio N. But the entry of the new panoramic sunroof will make the SUV even stronger than its segment rivals. Apart from this, rear ventilated seats are also expected in the 6-seater variant.

Along with this, the company is also working on providing a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which will support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Features like 360-degree camera can also be given in the top variants.
There will be no change in it mechanically. The SUV will be available in 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel engine options as before. The option of 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox for transmission, and 4WD system in top variants will remain the same as before.

This update is likely to be launched around Diwali. Along with this, the company is also going to launch the new generation Bolero, facelift versions of XUV700 and Thar, and Made-in-India electric SUVs in the market in the next 12 months.
It is worth noting that Mahindra also exports Scorpio N to countries like Australia, New Zealand and New Guinea, where AEB feature has been made mandatory. Therefore, Level 2 ADAS is already being included in the variants sent there.
This update will not only improve the safety of Scorpio N, but this SUV is also going to reach a new level in technical terms.
