Mahindra & Mahindra has released its sales figures for June 2025, where the company sold a total of 78,969 vehicles, which reflects a 14% year-on-year growth over the previous year. This includes both the domestic market and exports.
The highest growth was seen in the SUV segment, where Mahindra recorded domestic sales of 47,306 units in June 2025. This is 18% more than June 2024. Total SUV sales (including exports) stood at 48,329 units. According to the company, this has been the most successful quarterly performance so far in terms of SUV sales.

Talking about commercial vehicles, 20,575 units were sold in the domestic market. At the same time, the company achieved a spectacular annual growth of 37% in the three-wheeler category, which also includes EV three-wheelers.

However, growth was not seen in every segment. Mahindra’s LCV <2 tonne segment fell to 2,576 units in June 2025 from 3,227 units in June last year — a decline of 20%. In contrast, the LCV 2-3.5 tonne segment grew marginally by 4% and the LCV >3.5 tonne + MHCV segment grew marginally by 1%.
Commenting on the performance, Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO – Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra, said:
“June has been a strong close to the quarter with SUV volumes of 47,306 marking the highest-ever quarterly sales for SUVs. Our three-wheeler category also recorded a solid 37% growth, driven by continued demand in the EV space.”
With its strong footing in SUVs and expanding presence in electric mobility, Mahindra appears to be on track to maintain its growth trajectory across both urban and rural markets in the coming quarters.
