Bajaj Auto is preparing to launch a new entry-level 125cc motorcycle in FY 2026. This information was given by the company’s executive director Rakesh Sharma during a recent earnings call.
At present, Bajaj has a total of four models in the 125cc segment – Pulsar 125, Pulsar NS125, Pulsar N125 and Freedom CNG bike.
Prices of Bajaj’s 125cc range start from ₹ 85,178 and go up to ₹ 1.11 lakh (ex-showroom). It is believed that this new entry-level bike of the company can be launched at a price below the existing models.

When Rakesh Sharma was asked whether the company is planning to relaunch the CT125X, he said that no decision will be taken regarding branding until the full specification and identity of the new product is decided.
Sharma also pointed out that the 125cc segment is now almost as big as the executive 100cc segment, which accounts for about 28% of India’s total motorcycle market.
“We can see two or three sub-segments emerging here. The Freedom bike is an innovation – it is 125cc but touches different cc categories. It is a solution for people who ride long distances and want to save money on fuel,” he said.

“The question now is whether there is room for another brand in this segment other than Pulsar. The decision will be based on how different and special these sub-segments are. Work is on and we will reveal it when the new product is closer to launch,” Sharma added.
