Hero MotoCorp’s electric brand Vida has launched its new VX2 range in India. The range includes two variants – VX2 Go and VX2 Plus, which have been designed keeping in mind the different needs of the customers.

Customers can buy these scooters by paying the full price, or can also use them by renting only the battery under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) subscription model. The BaaS subscription price of VX2 Go starts at ₹59,490, while VX2 Plus is available for ₹64,990. If a customer wants to own the scooter completely including the battery, they will have to pay ₹99,490 for VX2 Go and ₹1,09,990 (ex-showroom) for the Plus variant.

Both scooters support fast charging, which charges the battery up to 80% in just an hour. There are also three charging options available — making charging easy anywhere, be it at home or outdoors.

Technology and Features

The Vida VX2 range is equipped with a number of smart features. Features like turn-by-turn navigation, remote immobilization, and real-time telemetry are standard across both variants. The VX2 Go gets a 4.3-inch LCD screen, while the Plus variant gets a 4.3-inch TFT touchscreen infotainment system. Design and Comfort

Talking about the design, the Vida VX2 scooter is as stylish and practical as before. It has 12-inch wheels which provide better stability and road grip. The seat is also wide, which the company has described as sufficient for two adults. The VX2 Go offers a boot space of 33.2 litres after removing the battery, which is enough to accommodate a full-face helmet.

Bookings and Deliveries

The VX2 range has been made available to customers across the country. Deliveries have already begun and customers can buy it online or through Hero dealerships. Also, all Vida VX2 scooters come with a 5-year or 50,000 km warranty.

If you are looking for a stylish, tech-loaded and affordable electric scooter, the Vida VX2 range could be a great option for you especially with the BaaS model, which reduces the cost even further.
