Hyundai has unveiled its new high-performance electric sedan, the Ioniq 6 N, at a prestigious event like the Goodwood Festival of Speed held in the UK. This is the second all-electric car from Hyundai’s N Performance division, which further strengthens the position of the already existing Ioniq 5 N.
The strength of this EV lies in its dual-motor setup, which generates 650 PS of power and 770 Nm of torque. With launch control on, this car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, and its top speed goes up to 257 km/h.

Hardware and Software to Enhance Performance
The Ioniq 6 N has been given Hyundai’s new N Battery Pack, which includes new cooling hardware and advanced energy flow control for better thermal management. Due to this, this car also performs better on the track.

Additionally, special software called N e-Shift gives a gear-shifting feel that virtually feels like stepped gear shifts in a traditional sports car. Features like Drift Optimizer, Grin Boost, Launch Control, and Torque Distribution have also been integrated into it.
Unique Sound and Lighting Experience

The N Active Sound+ system in the car allows the driver to choose the sound of the car according to his mood – whether it is a futuristic electric buzz or a growling sound like a mechanical sports engine. Apart from this, Ambient Shift Light gives visual indication by changing color during gear shifting, making driving even more interactive.
Design and Exterior Upgrades

The Ioniq 6 N is offered in a new Performance Blue Pearl finish, which gives a new look to the brand’s signature blue with a metallic texture. The car has been given aerodynamic upgrades like a swan-neck-style rear spoiler, flared wheel arches, and a low-riding stance, which not only enhance performance but also make it more aggressive.
High-Tech Features for Track Enthusiasts
With the help of the N Track Manager feature, users can create their own tracks, record lap times, and compare with previous runs through Ghost Mode. At the same time, Drift Optimizer gives the driver a chance to customize the angle and intensity of the drift.
Base and Suspension Setup
This car is built on Hyundai’s E-GMP platform, which not only gives it excellent acceleration but also gives tremendous control in cornering. For this, the suspension has been re-tuned, which includes an electronically controlled damping system and stroke sensors. Its low roll center and balanced chassis make the car more stable at high speeds.
Ground Events and Special Offers for Customers
At Goodwood, Hyundai showcased not just the Ioniq 6 N but their entire N lineup, including the WRC Rally1 Hybrid and the Ioniq 5 N TA Spec. They also set up a customer-centric pavilion offering exclusive merchandise and access to a private grandstand via an interactive pass.
Overall, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N not only sets a new benchmark for performance in the EV segment but also gives the driver an emotional and technological connection that makes every drive special.
