The ex-showroom price of the petrol version of Scorpio N Z4 AT is ₹17.39 lakh (approx. $20,800), while the diesel version is available for ₹17.86 lakh (approx. $21,400). In comparison, zthe initial price of the automatic variant was earlier ₹18.91 lakh ($22,600) for diesel Z6 and ₹19.06 lakh ($22,800) for petrol Z8 Select, which has now been reduced by ₹1.05 lakh and ₹1.67 lakh respectively. It is clear from this that Mahindra is now working on a strategy to deliver its SUV to more customers.

There has been no change in the engine or mechanical parts in the Z4 variant. It is powered by the same 2.0L mStallion turbo petrol engine, which generates 370Nm of torque with manual gearbox and 380Nm with automatic transmission. At the same time, the 2.2L mHawk diesel engine comes with 132hp power and 300Nm torque.

The Z4 variant gets both 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission options. While the petrol version comes only with rear-wheel drive, diesel buyers are also given the option of 4WD in the Z4 (E) variant – a great feature for those who like off-roading.
