Mahindra has once again intensified the discussion about its upcoming vehicles. The company has released the first glimpse of its new Vision.T concept SUV ahead of the Freedom_NU event to be held on Independence Day i.e. 15 August. After this teaser, speculation is now rife whether this is the same electric SUV that Mahindra introduced last year under the name Thar.e?
This teaser shows a boxy and muscular silhouette SUV design, in which the block pattern of wide wheel arches and off-road style tires is clearly visible. These design elements largely match the Thar.e concept, in which details like square LED headlamps and taillights were seen.
The company has not yet shared any technical specifications about Vision.T, but looking at it, it seems that it may be a production-close version of Thar.e. It is believed that this time Mahindra can present not only electric but also ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) models in this event. Apart from this, a new platform can also be showcased, which will be used to prepare the brand’s future vehicles.

It is worth noting that Mahindra has been following the tradition of showing glimpses of big products or concepts every year on August 15. In such a situation, the teaser of Vision.T indicates that the Thar series is going to get a new update in electric form – perhaps this time in the form of a five-door Thar EV.
All eyes are now on August 15 for the full reveal, when Mahindra will present an even bigger glimpse of its coming future with Vision.T.
