A total of 3,93,572 units were sold in the three-month quarter i.e. Q2 2025, a decline of about 6% compared to over four lakh units in the same period last year. While Dzire led the pack with over 50,000 units, Brezza and Ertiga also performed well. But WagonR, Baleno, Grand Vitara and Alto reported weak sales, impacting overall quarterly sales.

Among other models, Francs showed a marginal 1% YoY growth but suffered a 28% month-on-month decline. Baleno too struggled with sales below 9,000. Except for Celerio, which grew 10% month-on-month, others like XL6, Ignis and S-Presso made up for it with limited sales.

Overall, Maruti Suzuki got some relief in June 2025 on the back of a few models, but a drop in overall sales and market share has added to the company’s challenge.
