Mercedes-Benz has launched its special G 63 Collector’s Edition SUV in India. This model has been designed keeping in mind those customers who want a personal touch with luxury. It is priced at ₹ 4.30 crore ($502,527.24 USD) (ex-showroom) and this hyper-exclusive variant has been prepared only for India.
Only 30 units: Tremendous demand for limited edition
Mercedes-Benz has launched only 30 units of the G 63 Collector’s Edition in India. Bookings are open and deliveries will start from the fourth quarter of 2025. This model is ₹66 lakh (approximately $77,172 USD) more expensive than the regular G 63, but the additional features and exclusive elements available in it justify its price.

Design inspired by India’s soil and greenery
This SUV has been designed jointly by Mercedes-Benz India and their research team and its look is completely inspired by the Indian monsoon and natural beauty. For this, two special Manufaktur paint options have been launched:
- Mid Green Magno – inspired by the greenery of India during monsoon
- Red Magno – reflecting the iron-rich soil of India

The spare wheel cover at the rear of the vehicle has a signature plate of ‘One of Thirty’ which identifies it as a limited edition. Also, the side protection strip of the SUV has been given a special finish. The 22-inch gold coloured AMG alloy wheels further enhance its elegance.
Class and personalisation in the interior
Inside the cabin, you will find a luxurious finish, two-tone Nappa leather seats, which have a combination of Catalana Beige and Black. The open-pore walnut wood trim on the dashboard takes its premiumness to a higher level.

The most unique thing is that buyers can get their name engraved on the dashboard grab handle. This means that this SUV will embody your identity, with a very personal touch.
Powerful engine and great performance
The G 63 Collector’s Edition features the same high-performance engine that powers the standard AMG G63 – a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 unit, which is equipped with 48V mild hybrid technology. This engine generates 585hp of power and 850Nm of torque, while the mild hybrid system also provides an additional 22hp of boost power.

The vehicle has a 9-speed DCT automatic gearbox and is mated to a 4Matic all-wheel-drive system. Mercedes claims that this SUV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 4.4 seconds – which is proof of a strong performance.
Available only for premium customers
Mercedes has made it clear that this limited edition will be available only to its select premium customers. Anyway, the demand for the G-Class in India is already quite high – there is a waiting period of 12 to 18 months for even the regular G 63. Mercedes has created a special zone called ‘G Corner’ in the Delhi showroom where only G-Class models are experienced.
More India-Special Editions in the Future
Mercedes-Benz’s track record shows that their special G-Class editions have always been in demand in India. However, the company got very limited units for the G 63 Collector’s Edition. The good thing is that the brand is planning to bring exclusive variants for the Indian market in the future as well – especially from its high-end lineup.
So if you are looking for an SUV that is a perfect combination of performance, personalization and prestige – then the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition can be an excellent option for you. But hurry up – because it won’t be long before these 30 units are gone.
