What has changed in the new version?

No major change has been made in the design, but in this version a single, long, and comfortable seat has been given in place of the split seat. At the rear too, there is now a single-piece unit instead of dual grab rail, which provides more space and comfort to the pillion.

Engine and Performance

This bike gets the same 164.82cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that generates 16 hp of power at 8750 rpm and 14.65 Nm of torque at 6750 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Talking about the features:

  • Bi-functional LED projector headlamp
  • LCD instrument cluster
  • Bluetooth connectivity (for call/SMS alerts)
  • USB charging port

Braking and Suspension:

The new version has a 300mm front disc and 280mm rear disc brake, while the base version has a 230mm rear disc. The suspension setup includes a 37mm telescopic front fork and a monoshock unit at the rear, which is the same as the previous version.

This variant is aimed at those riders who want comfort and safety together. Earlier this year, the company launched a single seat version, but now with the addition of dual channel ABS, this option has become even more attractive.

If you are looking for a combination of Bajaj’s powerful performance, comfortable ride and advanced safety features, then the new Pulsar N160 variant can be a great option.
