Xiaomi’s electric scooter 5 Plus has recently received official approval to run on the road in Germany. This certification has been issued by Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA), which indicates that the scooter meets all the legal and technical conditions there. Also, it has received ABE (Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis), so that it can now be driven on the public roads of Germany without any restriction.
Interestingly, this is the second time in the last few weeks that some information related to this scooter has been leaked. It is clear from this, that the company is going to launch it in the European market soon and as well as international markets

Now its name has been registered in Germany’s KBA database under the model number DDHBC23LQ, while the entry found in UAE had the model number DDHBC24LQ.

But no mention of specifications so far
The current standard model features a 700W max power motor, equipped with dual-spring shock absorbers at the front, and offers a range of around 60 km (approximately 37 miles). Unfortunately, Xiaomi has not revealed any technical details or specifications for the Electric Scooter 5 Plus, making it difficult to determine where this model will fit within the existing line-up. So it is possible that the Plus variant comes with better features than this, but it would be too early to say anything for sure.
