Renault India has confirmed the launch date of the facelift version of its popular 7-seater MPV, the Triber. This new updated Triber is now going to enter the Indian market on 23 July.
Although the company has not yet made much information public about its interior or features, some important changes have come to light based on the model seen during testing and leaked reports.

With the new Triber facelift, the company’s focus is on the “Rethink Space” concept, which makes it clear that now more comfort, space management, and smart technology have been given importance in this MPV. The unit seen during testing shows that it will get a new LED headlamp setup, a dual-tone grille with horizontal racks and black cladding, circular fog lamps, LED DRLs, and a new front bumper design. Overall, its exterior is going to look more modern and sleek than before.

The interior is currently under wraps, but it is believed that it will include premium features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver display, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlights, and a 360-degree camera.
As far as the engine is concerned, Renault is not going to make any major changes in it. The Triber facelift will get the same 1.0-liter 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine as before, which will come with 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options. Along with this, the CNG version will also continue as a retrofitted option as before.
Renault is preparing to launch not only the Triber facelift but also the Kiger facelift, although at present the company has revealed the date of only the Triber.
If you are looking for a 7-seater that is within budget but doesn’t compromise on design, technology, and practical space, then the new Triber facelift that will be launched on July 23 should definitely be on your list.
