Yes, Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched its updated GSX-8R in the Indian market, which is priced at ₹ 9.25 lakh (~$11,100) (ex-showroom). The special thing is that now this bike also follows the latest OBD-2B norms of the Government of India.
GSX-8R will directly with bikes like Aprilia RS 660, Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Triumph Daytona 660 in the market. Now it clear that this bike is making a very strong entry in the sports bike segment.

This powerful sports bike have 776cc parallel-twin engine, which generates 82 bhp of power at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm of torque at 6,800 rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and also has the facility of assist and slipper clutch, which makes gear shifting smooth.

Suzuki has given Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS) in this bike, which includes many advanced electronic features:

- Ride-by-Wire Throttle
- Bi-Directional Quickshifter
- Multiple Riding Modes
- Suzuki Easy Start System
- Low RPM Assist
The purpose of all these features is to make riding more smooth, controlled and fun.
The GSX-8R has a Showa SFF-BP USD fork at the front and a Showa mono-shock at the rear. Talking about the braking system, there are two 310mm disc brakes at the front and a 240mm disc brake at the rear. That is, there is no compromise in both control and safety.The 2025 Suzuki GSX-8R has been launched in three amazing colors:
