Tata has not skimped on providing features in this new offering. From its base model ‘Adventure‘ itself, you get everything that is expected from a premium vehicle.

For entertainment and information during driving, it has a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Also, there is a setup of 4 speakers and 2 tweeters for great sound. The best part is that important features like navigation will also be visible to you on the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, so that you do not have to look at the central screen again and again.

Talking about comfort, it has modern features like flat-bottom steering wheel, cruise control, wireless charging pad and USB Type-C ports with 45W fast charging. Keyless entry, automatic climate control, and adjustable steering wheel are standard. Height-adjustable seat and manual lumbar support have also been provided for the comfort of the driver. Overall, Tata has ensured that you get a comfortable and great experience in every journey.
Great combination of power, performance and range
The Tata Harrier EV is built on the company’s new Acti.ev+ platform, which helps it deliver great performance and range. The vehicle will have two battery pack options. The initial ‘Adventure‘ variant will have a 65 kWh battery pack. If you want an even longer range, a larger 75 kWh battery pack is also available, which claims to give a tremendous range of up to 627 kilometers on a single full charge!
This SUV is ahead not only in range but also in power. It will have options for both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD), which can produce a powerful torque of up to 504 Nm. It means, from city roads to difficult roads, Harrier EV will not disappoint you.
Not only this, you get driving modes like Eco, City, Sport and Drift as well as terrain programs like Normal, Rock Crawl, Mud Ruts, Snow/Grass, Sand and a Custom mode. This Means, no matter what the road is like, Harrier EV will always be ready for it.
Design and Style: More attractive than before
In terms of looks, the new Harrier EV looks quite similar to its diesel model, but some small changes give it a fresh and modern feel. Its RWD variant also has a 67-liter ‘frunk’ (front trunk) space, which is quite practical for keeping small items.
The car has been introduced in five attractive colors, including an exclusive ‘Stealth Black’ color. Features like LED projector headlamps, connected LED DRLs and tail lamps, 18-inch stylish alloy wheels, shark-fin antenna and roof rails in its exterior give it a very premium and muscular look.
Safety and other highlights
Tata is known for the safety of its vehicles and the Harrier EV is no different. It has a host of safety features like electronic stability control, traction control, disc brakes on all four wheels, multiple airbags, tire pressure monitoring system and hill-start assist.
Apart from this, features like paddle shifters, power-adjustable and foldable mirrors, puddle lamps, over-the-air (OTA) updates, Tata’s connected car technology and bi-directional charging (which allows you to charge other devices from the vehicle) are also available. Leather seats and Tata’s glowing logo on the steering wheel make its interior even more beautiful.
It will compete mainly with vehicles like the upcoming Creta Electric and Mahindra XUV.e9 (XEV 9e) in the market. So, if you are looking for an electric SUV that is a complete package of style, power, range and features, then the Tata Harrier EV should definitely be on top of your list.
